Our target audience is predominantly teenagers and young adults aged 15 and over. Typical interests of this audience include music, computer games, cinema, tv, late nights, partying, most of which can be related to horror in some form or another. We have chosen this target audience as some of the content may be unsuitable for anyone under the age of 15 and from the research we conducted on other horror films, this is the age range most horror films are aimed at, as young adults seem to enjoy horror the most. We aim to advertise and market the film on social networking sites as most of our target audience uses these regularly.They can also relate to them as the protagonist is usually a young vulnerable person as you can see in the films Orphan, House At The End Of The Street and Paranormal Activity 4. |
