During our planning and production process, as a group we would have regular board meetings with our teachers to discuss our current progress and look at what improvements we could make to our work. These meetings were particularly useful as it gave us a good insight on what we should be working towards in order to achieve the highest quality for our work. Feedback from our teachers allowed us to consider improvements to aspects of our work. For example, reshooting a particular scene for our trailer.

After each meeting, our teacher would sign the notes we made to confirm we had spoken about each stage of our coursework.                                                                     The images below are examples of the type of notes made during the meetings.

This particular image shows that the 19th March 2013, we were in the planning process of our film pack. After speaking to our teacher, we were advised to bring in the old home videos we intended to use for our trailer to see if the format could be converted to edit on Premiere Pro before we go into production.

We did face issues in this concept which resulted in us changing the idea from using old home videos to adding into shots of old photos of the protagonist at the start of our trailer. Although our initial ideas had to be changed, the use of the photos proved to be effective and fitted in the narrative of our trailer.

Another suggestion made for our planning was to ensure our location scouting filming would reflect exactly how we want the location to be portrayed in the trailer. This was an important factor we had to consider as we filmed test shots for our location scouting video.

After the filming process for our trailer, we had a board meeting with our teacher who went through all our footage to identify what shots were effective and if any shots needed to be re-filmed. The feedback we received was fairly positive, our teacher noting the acting skills to be of a good level and the good variety of shots we had filmed.

However there were some shots that we felt we needed to re-shoot after discussing with our teacher our vision for how we want the trailer to look. For example, one of the shoots appeared quite shaky and therefore we had to consider using a tripod when re-filming.
